Alrightttt SO. I came back from malacca yesterday. (Sorry For Not Updating) LETS JUST SAY..

I ENJOYED AND HAD FUN . WE ALL HAD FUN .

Its like sorta a getaway too. A tiring one though. Well I won't talk much about it . 

Singapore's 48th Birthday's round the corner! And, JYSB have to perform for it. Well its just marching pieces for the UGgroups and the National Anthem. There's very little little little little time left I guess. First rehearsal's next tuesday -If I'm not wrong- The band only has 4 more practices before the actual thing and since the rehearsal starts next tuesday, we're only left with this Thursday for sectionals. 

Now JYSB peeps, if you're reading this : Please think of the importance and emergency yeah .

There's ChineseLanguage oral for my class tomorrow. Shit. 

SO GONNA STUTTER ALL THE WAY. I'm in for some rainbows and unicorns. not. I stammered and stuttered for quite some time for my turn last year. The question wasn't easy! Well. after thinking about it , it was actually. and for my passage reading I couldn't recognise half of it. OKIMSODEAD. 

But, there's nothing I can do much about it. My chinese is like this is like this is like this. Just gonna revise the notes and count on luck. 

Can I believe in luck? Well, I do but maybe its just 心里着用。Ahh wells. This is life, I guess. There's debate after that. 

Talking about debate, the first lesson was last wendesday yeah? It went okay, we were taught the basics of it first and watched a round of it on video. It was intimidating but it should be fun. :) 

I guess Debate will eventually benefit me somehow. One way or another.

Hey guys! I'm going on a workshop within the school, for Debate. Well its something kinda like an external course thing. Our school has like a annually debate inter-class but this year, they're sending our batch and the current sec 2s on the workshop ( feels special hehehe ) It's starting this Wednesday and it's gonna last for 10 weeks. 10 week, commitment. Why I joined? Well partly cause my best friend is joining and I figured that band can't hold me back on Wednesdays cause fuzzy has her own workshops as well and yeah, no one to have lunch with so might as well.
On the other hand, I think I really think it'll somehow benefit me as well. Well, for those of you who know me well, I actually stutter when I'm speaking like to a large group of people or simply to someone I feel inferior to or when I'm at loss/ in panic mode. Sometimes, its not only these times but also sometimes when its just normal chatting. My mind and mouth can't really seem to connect. and I think I have been getting loads of 'huh' after I talk. well, I guess I'm somehow immune and simply just repeat what I just said. But thinking of it, it may cause a problem in future and I know it somehow's gonna just irritate me and yeah. And I've received comments from other that my words are like mummers and slurred which is annoying. HAHAHA. So yeah, I really think it'll benefit me in this sense, But I also wish to have more confidence in public speaking and hence I truly think it'll benefit me.

The question is. WILL IT REALLY DO ME GOOD OR ITS JUST LIKE A WASTE OF TIME.
Well, I've mentioned what I hope this workshop will bring me and yeah. YOLO since I've already handed in the form, (edusave)- school's paying half for us heheh )

TALKING ABOUT EDUSAVE, I'm worried that it won't have enough for this year end's band competition. Well I've mentioned it somewhere behind ( i think ) and TALKING ABOUT IT,
RECENTLY TEACHER TOLD THE BAND THAT ITS 98% CONFIRMED AND TEACHERS ARE FIGHTING FOR APPROVAL BY THE SCHOOL. I am really really really really really really really excited about it. Imagine going somewhere you like ( Ilovehongkong and the food the language the culture and DISNEYLAND <3 ) , somewhere where people speak canto which you understand and others dont hahahhaah and just BOND BOND with your beloved people and just talk and take care and feel the love. Eating together, sharing the same room. And bringing your instrument overseas, hugging them on the plane, bonding with teachers, conductor. hehehhe. Really really really excited. heh I SHALL CONTAIN MY EXCITEMENT. ( it'll scare everyone off i bet heh)

Alright enough of talking today. I shall get on with life and start doing my uncompleted work.

Alright sooo, I'm officially 15! a day passed so fast. AND. I have to face shitty homework tomorrow. ugh.

Started off with the day with band. so. we were supposed to go through ACS, but only a few of us were here and its my birthdaaayy, we jammed a little instead. Well at least we got our hands on our instruments. :)

After that, Fuzzy and I went home (mine's) to meet kenny and hc heheheh Awesome :) HC brought along her penny board, (wanted to trryyyy) hahhahaha we slaked awhile in my room, Fuzzy left after awhile annddd we then found out that DisMe2 's tickets were selling fast. We went out soon to actually book the tickets hahah. We wanted to settle with for some Jap eatery but Ken suggested SakaeSushi .
and IT WAS SO NICE OK.

Our wallets nicer. hahah costed the 3.5 of us ( ryan came late and ate verrry little ) 90 over bucks hheheheheeh . BUT its worth it. YOLO. Salmon is so nice I tell you . Ryan how can you hate it.

We actually spent like and hour plus there and we were *late for the movie . No time for drinks and popcorn :( hahah MEENIENS ARE SOO CUTEEE. minions i meant heheh

Met my mom after that then I didn't really know where the rest went hehe. We went to buy ma cakee and fooooodddd ( pictures down below! )

HEEELLOOOOOO  MY BIRTHDAY'S TOMORROWWWW <3 HAHAHAH
Alright, I just got home from a loooonggg day and I am still really overwhelmed by everything today :D ( I apologise if my words are inappropriate or I'm not clear. haha )

SOO, school was ok, a little tiring as usual. The week was reaaally long and I guess I was kinda touchy and sentimental heh. Sorryy all. Band yesterday wassss erm . Let's just say the atmosphere going around wasn't that good yeah. Muslims were all fasting and I was having a reallly reallyy bad headache. It only subsided until I took panadol at home :( But its all over now!

Right, so todayyy, my junior passed me a card in the morning and my other friend passed me a card and my senior toooo.
We ( the art students ) went for a tour at LaSelle after school. Welll I was kinda interested for the music course and maybe the fine arts one on photography. did you know. I dreamt of being a Fashion Designer when I was younger like really young. Then I knew I couldn't draw mannequins and yeaaa hahahah.

LaSelle was reallly cool. First timer yo.

The whole batch of sec3 express art students went off for dinner. Cher's treat. Mr Adz hahaha. We wanted to have Pizza hut so it was easier to like share and it wasnt that expensive but the queue was soooo long and there was like 16 of us! so. We ended up at Swensens. Most students like shared except for 4 of us cause. we were sitting at the same table with cher. it was the looooong table so. we sat the same side . I felt bad ok . Swensens aint cheap . and after eating, there was a birthday IceCream from cher! all 15 of us shareeeddd. hahah <3 thanks cher. I was like so delighted alreaaadyyy hehehhehe

Hey guys! Its a lazy sunday onceee again. HAPPY YOUTH DAY TO ALL YOUTHS! Well, youth day to me isn't much of a big deal to me. Its just a normal ay on the calendar. School didn't do much too, only some programme for us in the hall with mostly videos. But I really appreciate them haha I have the cutest math teacher.

You know, I have been spending quite a lot on food. Quality food. Ever since after MidYears. Well its not that I don't spend much on food last time but now, I don't mind spending more if its worth it. What is worth it? Food that satisfies me and fills my tummy. Yes I am fat but I don't eat uncontrollably.
I tried awfully chocolate's White Chocolate Cupcake. Its awesome. I still remember how it tastes like its basically white choco cream on top then its cake then its choco fudge again. Well it is nice but I still think the cream's too buttery :3
Its just a sinful dessert I rewarded myself with after exams. Dont judge!

I wanna try the Salted ButterScotch Brownie next timeeee

Next, I had quite a few cups of StarBucks . Tried the greenTea cream Frappe, CottonCandy Frappe and The Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappe. Wanted to try the CC frappe first but It wasn't available at the airport ( didn't know it was actually VanillaCream Frappe with a pump of Raspberry then. ) So yeah, GreenTeaCream it is. Its awesome. GreenTea lovers go try it out. Alright I might be very late for trying it for the first time, but yeah Just saying that its really refreshing. It may be a little expensive but its nice. I don't mind.

Ok then I tried the CC frappe at tamp and. It was soooo tasteless I tell you. Really bad impression for it and its not worth it with only cream and ice.

But I tried out Fuzzy's one she got at the Music Fiesta and It was superb . Totally different from the one I bought an its a ripoff. Maybe they were running out of raspberry so they had to ration or smth hahahaha. Ok no more comments.
The Mocha Cookie Crumble was awesome! Love it so muchhh. But I don't wanna splurge and get another cup even its on other days. I was contemplating whether to get it on wednesday. :/ But I didn't. heh.
I also tried Hazelnut (mocha?) i forgot, from Dunkin Donuts. and I'm sorry but It was horrible and yeah Tasteless. Never gonna get coffee from there again. But I'm guessing that the Donuts there's good?

Went for Korean BBQ with HC at Tamp1 and it was buffet style. Totally worth it cause it was lunch price and you need to pay another $10 if its dinnertime :| But of course there should be more varieties for dinner.

So, I also went on a date to town with my beloved PianoTeacher <3 haha We settled for lunch at koh sushi and grill which is at WismaAtria . Best sashimi Ive ever eaten. Its fresh, thick and yeah. Awesome.

 I had the Salmon Don ( Salmon freak here hehe ) And yeah Awesome. My Teacher had the Unagi Egg hotplate which looked appetising.

The SHOIK maki was soooo gooooddd. You can actually taste the grill with the salmon and Their sauce is just. perfect. BUT THE THING IS THERES AVOCADO AND I DONT EAT THEM I KNOW I'M WERID TO DIG IT OUT HAHAHA. ok judge if you want.

Alright I know there other professionals commenting on food and yeah I'm just here bored on my blog.

Term3Week1 going 2

Time passes so fast yeah, life have changed so much.. 

People change, People come and go. Many many many things happened but I'm still here, alive, surviving. 

SO. School reopened andddd my class's timetable had changes and we officially end lessons at 4pm in the damn afternoon every Monday. It's as if Monday Blues aren't bad enough and we need to end exceptionally late. But, we don't have any choiceee.

I have been coughing since the HAZE from Indonesia's forest burns, which was like 2 weeks ago and I haven't recovered. I went to the doc's 2 days ago and the meds he gave is so strong, I don't even feel myself after taking it. 

Its youth day tomorrow andddd yeah, nothing much is gonna happen. We had some carnival thing in school and our booth came second in the whole school with 220+ bucks. :D

Band was fine, just that there were no conductors on both sessions and fuz and I had to conduct some rhythm programme which would eventually become a percussion ensemble involving the whole band. Some band mates went on vacation and brought us some goodies ! Felt the love haha.

Life. (Part II) -JHOLS

Alright hiii .
So, I've changed my layout here once agaiiinnn hehehe going on simple this time.
so here's part two!

During the holidays, we had band practice, the following day after I came back from phuket. :) Phuket was very relaxing heh. Great getaway.
2 band practices were held and we were introduced to new pieces anddd, I'm gonna play the piccolo. Its an octave higher than flute, but fingerings of it stays the same.

Pieces that we were introduced was Somewhere over the rainbow, Lord of the dances, Stars and Stripes Forever, Gonna Fly Now etc... Lord of the Dance and The Stars and Stripes Forever are "band classics" and yeah. both pieces consists of piccolo solo. My fav of all is Lord of the Dance, it was like my earbug for a few days. make it 4. It's not gonna be easy for the band, but I believe that we can do it JYSBJYSB ALLLTHEWAY. ( oh and if I didn't mention, we're most likely taking part in the Winter Band Festival in HKDisneyLand . AWESOME. here's the link http://www.ravegroup.sg/winterbandfest/index.php )


yepyep and for the third week of the Holidays, a few of my friends and I participated in the music fiesta, IP songwriting competition, held at Singapore Polytechnic. It was a great experience. Its like a song writing competition with the theme of Intellectual Property which means ( to me ) Anti-Piracy and Copyright.
It was a 4 & 1/2 days Daycamp. Most of my close friends went for it. ( well all to be exact, excluding wifey :3 )
I don't think I should disclose any names here so I shall use nicknames or initials instead heh.
Hc, Fuz, Rl and I were in a group, our kind and friendly mentors were Pineapple and Giraffe and actually, half of the participants were from my school and ALL of us were actually cheering for JYSS and not actually the team haahha
We were in Group5Allegro while another closefriend group was in Group9Allegro. (Lets call them the boys' group)  We had to come up with a song in like 3 days and It wasnt easy. The boys' group's song was the most popular amongst all . "Why you PotongJalan my song, Why you potongjalan my lyrics, now I no money no money no more. Damn Damn." It went something like this. and the whole group had cool caps and the rapper/singer had 3 on his head so he turned them around after the chorus and everyone in the hall was like amused by it.
I played the keyboard in my group. I wanted to use the flute at first but. Keyboard seemed better. I only played the mainstream chords & rhythm ( really easy ones ) and yeah. I was so nervous for the first audition I screwed up some of them. Most of them actually.( and yes, there were 2 auditions, THEY TOOK AWAY OUR GAMES TIME. ) We didnt really put in our full full effort in the song cause we didnt intend to win it ( i dont think we had the potential too either ) But I think our song was still okay. Its called Give it a SHOT . And the chorus is a little " Integrity its within you, its not hard to , make everyone happy. Integrity its within you, you can try to, make everyone happy " Fuz and HC sang during the first while RL played the guitar and I was on the keyboard (duh) .
for the second, Fuz played the CaJon and she added a rap. Which she missed it and we all had to end halfway due to the awkwardness. We were embarrassed yo. But it was ok :)
The food there was reaaaly nice we even had a meal of a personal pizza and garlic bread and they even provided us with teabreaks with way to much snacks of the same kind.

Oh and during the first day, we had the icebreaking session and I got forfeited. OK I WAS SO DUMB THEN HAHAH. and it was something like - everyone says something and you need to do it kind of one round - So damn funny hahaha I had fun.
In all, I really had fun with my mentors and yeah we had quite a few rounds of FunRun with them and HC. Fuz and RL, dont play funrun :(

The music fiesta burt out the whole of 3rd week and I was left 1 week to complete my Assignments. It wasnt easy and not 100000% completed but I guess it was still reasonable?
Went over to Fuz's on a Thursday for homework and discussion of band and yeah. It's a condo and we kinda relaxed by the pool for a while after we were done.

I realised, I really love relaxing haahah I mean, who doesn't?
So I guess I'll end of my holiday post here with my fav picture :)
