HEY WORLD.
So I guess its time to update about my life yeah. LIFELIFELIFELIFE. no comments about it.
For all I'm going through now, I don't know exactly how to express myself, or simply, I don't know what or how I feel . And I don't want to. ManyMany things has happened recently and Sometimes I feel that, I don't have anyone to talk to now. Truly talk to , to rant all day long and just understands every single thing I do, everything I say. With all my mummering and  stuttering and incoherent voice . 
Yes I do have true friends and of course I cherish them.. but its just different. No one understands what I'm going through and honestly, I wish I'm not going through all these .

I know how inexplicably hard it is to actually LOSE a friend, someone who turns cold to you, never talking again. Imagine the same happy person, who laughs and smiles. But now it's not because of you and it's never gonna be the same. Broken friendships are hard to move on from, especially when you get to see them almost on a daily basis with no choice. And seeing your same friend, changing so drastically just in front of you, turning into a whole different you never knew. It's just, depressing, knowing that the same friendship will never be the same. No one wants this to ever happen but it's just.. Life I guess? 

I believe that life is never easy, and life is hard. But in the philosophy of hard work comes sweet success . It may not be hard work for now, but just endurance maybe? Endurance with life and just.. Move on. 

People come and go, true friends leave too, but to do something to make you happy. Make sense? Not exactly but yeah. True friends stay on and do what they are. As friends. 

You're happy as long as the people you care for are happy

Term assessment results are backkkkk( for quite some time alr haha) 

Kinda disappointed though, well not kinda. I am. So basically I didn't improve on anything at all.

 I dropped 4 grades for my history and barely passed English and Accounts. Mathematics & sciences remained Bs. oh and failed Chinese Language. And if im not wrong, 60+% of the cohort failed.

I was really excited about getting my History paper back, until wednesday morning when my teacher said. " Sam you could've done better" Those 4 words left me pondering the whole day . and yeah I dropped so much.

But I KNOW. That what has happened HAS happened and nothing can change anything.

SO, gonna start mugging next week and I truly hope everything pays off. SO I CAN FOCUS ON BAND WITHOUT REGRETS AND ENJOY THE TIME OF MY LIFE PRACTICING FOR THE HK TRIP.

Anyways, Aunt, Mom and I went out to town last last Saturday! It was my first time trying buffet Town and its really fantastic. FRESH SASHIMI YO. And its not really exorbitant considering that there's free flow of sashimi & oysters and other good fooooddd. I wish I stayed longer!
So after lunch we went shopping ( duh ) got some paper stock and some other random stuff. :D

Alright moving on, 

I don't know why but, I'm actually excited to get my themes for my end of year paper for Art. I'm not usually excited for art ( considering that it was copying painting for at least a month. ) but I guess this whole preparation thing for it will be.. Tedious but fun? I have a good feeling for it hahahhahah. 

We're getting our papers on Thursday, right after our school's art exhibition -The walking Dot. Eggcited 

Talking about it, we (Art students) are gonna be ambassadors for de art exhibition on Thursday. We're actually having some ACES ( all children exercise simultaneously ) activity for a period in the morning before having a big breakfast ( where the whole class have breakfast together ) 

But I'm glad that we're off as ambassadors . New experience yo. And I really really like the walking dot . 

Every art piece starts with a dot. You drag the dot as it walks and it becomes a line, the dragged dot then meets other of it's own friends then becomes a shape, from it, many experience, good bad happy sad, fills it out and other dots appear, just like life, to become a form.

I actually wanna talk about my experience of copy painting, but you know what, nah I shouldn't. It's too depressing hahjahahaahhaha well at least it's completed. 

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. 

Oh oh and guess what, TEACHER'S DAY IS ARRIVING AND THE BAND'S PERFORMING ! The whole school will witness ( or at least hear ) JYSB. -Create awareness yo. And the one and only rehearsal's tomorrow. I'm gonna conduct for the performance 。_  。WELL ANOTHER EXPERIENCE RIGHTTTTT. Haha . Everything's kinda messy, considering that we only have 70minutes together with so many other performers. No I do not mean that we need 70 minutes, 10 will be sufficient . But thing is, IT'S TEACHERS DAY WHY HAVE IT DURING CCE PERIODS? And participants & student councillors ( which is like half of the school i guess ) need to be excused from 2 periods of lessons to prepare. Like, what's the point? Other schools get to celebrate on Thursday together with ACES. B U T I understand that, we can't waste time for celebration. We need to S•T•U•D•Y ok. Sigh. Life is hard. 

Alright it's late and I've yet to charge my phone soooo, bye! Ps, the next post should be about fooood ;)

TA2 week .

Hey guys! 

Its TermAssessments for my school this week! I have been slacking so much after the semester break and revision's kinda last minute :/ . But I promise the next time, I WILL REVISE EARLY . I cannot afford to waste time . Well after all, End Of Years starts on 25 september. 

Buhuhu •que's in "wake me up when September ends" green day. 

Anyways. Monday's language papers weren't too bad. Just the fact that passing mother tongue's gonna need the help of a miracle. Which is impossible.. Tuesday's math and social studies' paper went okay. but some bumps came along, well mountains to be exact, which stopped my brain from functioning properly. My mind went blank for a few moments. 

Wednesday's history paper was... Tedious. Had to write non-stop for it. (Yes I know there's papers that require far worse than writing 1 hour). I'm looking forward to get it back! 

Thursday, today's combined science paper was.. No comments. I complete both papers within 35 mins? ( every paper is an hour long ) so I completed it very quickly. And I don't think it's gonna be fantastic. Well maybe the opposite. Extreme. Sigh. 

ButWHAT'S DONE IS DONE . 

These days I've been listening to the instrumental playlist on my phone. I guess it's a great way of distressing and the songs are not bad actually. 

They consist of Yiruma, Kevinkern, some random drama instrumental that my mom got which makes up most of it and ABRSM grade 5 piano pieces. They're all actually good and yeah nice. ( adjective toddler here )

SINGAPORE'S 48!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SINGAPORE! 

Alright I shall start out with this year's celebration with my school first alright :D

SO, as usual, parade was what kicked off every NationalDay. Band had to play music while the UGs marched. JYSS's parade's the most unique I've ever seen. Instead of having continents/companies ( idk what its exactly called but you get my point ) in front of the whole school, different UG will be marching on one block. So its like 1-2 UG(s) to one level. They will be facing the parade square so everyone has a good view. The parade's very grand and when everyone stomps after the music stops, its like the whole block's shaking. Awesome. And given that we're Sec3s this year, our fellow schoolmates were commanding and flag-holders. Everything went sorta ok, nothing was abrupt ( I guess ) but for my band, many many members were late, even the door was opened late. We were all rushing. But in all the messiness and rushing, I'm glad that nothing serious was wrong. But we didn't get to debrief the band and take a picture :( 

Anyways, One of my (new) Piccolo's spring was very weak and one of the Key was stuck, it must be sent for servicing and I didn't get to use it for any rehearsals. I had to use the old one which I'm not used to at all. The sound was so bad, so airy. BUT IM SO GLAD I MANAGE TO USE IT FOR THE ACTUAL PERFORMANCE. The sound was much more smoother. :) 

Right. So, after the parade we had some UpperSec traditional games interclass competition. My besties and I took part in scrabble. Lets just say that our score wasn't as fantastic but it wasn't the worse ok ? There was some time before the next event > Teacher's soccer match. So, HC, ZK, Vora and I sneaked up to the PA room to Jam out to our music. Amazing experience ! We didn't bother to go down to watch the match when it was time. FunRun seem more interesting. But I kinda wanted to watch it haahaah so yeah. After the match was some assembly performance. I wouldn't call it a concert cause the only performance was our choir singing to NDP theme songs :3 It kinda bored Hc and I heeheheheh. 

ALRIGHT MOVING ON TO TODAY'S CELEB! 

Mom's side Famz's gathering! :D SO MUCH GOOD FOOD I HAD. It was kinda like a pot-luck ( idk what you call it ) which means everyone had to contribute food! I've come to realise that, my family is so bonded and fun to be with. We often have gatherings that brings everyone fun joy and laughter! Adults enjoy time with their other half, kids go crazy with all the pressies they receive from others! Its always a beautiful sight to see everyone loved and happy. 

There were games today, organised by my dearest aunt ( and famz ) and my beloved grand aunt! It started off with forfeiting those who didn't follow the dress code> Red & White. They were told to dance to Psy's Gentleman. >:D

The first game's a "traditional game" which my family will definitely play every games session. >de Musical Puzzle< I guess it was inspired by musical chairs but for this, everyone has to pass around something-> be it a box or a cup of water. But today was the cup of water and when the music stops, the one holding the cup will have to pick a card. It may be a forfeit or a lucky one where you win a prize. 

It may be a simple game but it brought us much laughter. :D 

Next's >The best of the Best where we all get into different groups and for every round, a member will be nominated to compete in various theme for the best of the best. Great experience! 

After that was a few hilarious games which I wont exactly go into detail, SO here's some pictures!

Today was fun, everyone enjoyed I guess. well, at least the food :) Had some catching up with my lovely cousins together with their girlfriend/boyfriend. Met my oldest cousin's boyfriend, Nicholas, for the first time :)

Hey guysseeeesssseess 

I haven't been updating much, causeeee there's some things that can't really be publicised but the good news isssss, 

EVERYTHING IS SETTELEDDD 🙊👍

Last few days ( or maybe weeks ) I've been really really reluctant to even, wake up in the morning, to live life. I have to admit, I've been slacking so much. Be it in school or at home. I'm always slacking. But I won't now! Well you know, I haven't been so joyful (like I am now) for quite some time 🙊

It must be the good food I had these few days. I had ramen for lunch, Starbucks for dinz today 😄 happy me ish happy .

Best ramen I've ever had. 

I had the cotton candy frappe . And I'll never ever want it again. It's such a waste of money. Maybe it's only me but yeah. It costed me $8 for the venti one and it's tasteless. Even strawberry milk tastes better. And as far as I know, I ordered with 3 pumps of vanilla and raspberry each. How disappointing :( 

Oh and I had molten cake too! 

IT • IS • SO • GOOD 

After all this' my first lava cake and it's even cheaper than my drink! Satisfying 😁 (I have a video on instaG, follow me! @MusicSpeaksLikeArt) 

Alright, as you guys should know, JYSB is planning for a HongKong trip for the Winter Band Festival! (Sound so atas right) hehehehehehehehh and I'm so so lucky to be getting it this year. I mean, everyone is lucky, but. It's where fuz and I lead the band! :) it's not gonna be simple but I'm so so so so so so so so so excited for it! I there's still 4 months to go, but, it's never too early to fantasise about it, am I right? I'm really looking forward to it and I really hope it's a success! There's a teeennyyy weeeenny problem now, due to $$ but I'm confident that we're all able to go! Just imagine, all the hard practices we're gonna have, the intense, the fun, the laughter, the sorrows. And all the preparation that we need to make, things to bring, discipline that we must have. And there's much much more! And another thing is that I hope. That all teachers can go! Well I guess it's a once in a lifetime chance we get to go with the same people same band same year same time same songs. 🙏

I guess it's still to early to be all excited excited about it. I will control hehehehehehehehh. I try ok. I SHALL TAKE IT AS MY MOTIVIATION TO STUDY :) 

Mom bought the house a new oven! Well her main purpose is to actually roast meat ( but she actually forgotten until I probed her ) and I used it to bake banana muffins! 

It was a success but could've used more bananas heheheh.

I guess my next bake's gonna be brownies/cookies. I got some chocolate cookie premix with me! But I don't have the timeee 

Oh oh and we're gonna have a famz gathering at mine's  for National Day which I'm looking forward to! There's gonna be GOODFOODDD, GAMESS And fun! So maybe I'll bake the cookies then! :) We've set a dress code for the day - Red & White ( obviously hehe cause it's Singapore's birthday yo)

And talking about clothes, bought quite a lot of stuff this weekend! Considering that I didn't go out last weekend. Heheh

Lowry's farm was on sale! Bought a dress and a cute top like these monkays ➡ 🙊🙉🙈 uniqlo's on sale too!

Parents got me a new watch from swatch as a über belated birthday gift . Spent quite some time choosing it between 4 others!

Did I mentioned that we dissected a sheep's heart for biology 2 weeks ago? 

Well we did! It was an eye opener but not exactly pleasant experience. The nylon smell from the glove stayed on my hand and I had to wash my hand so much before it's 'gone' and the scent from the heart wasn't good. 

I think in the whole group I was the one whining most and didn't dare to touch ahahaha. Amazing experience. 

Know what? JYSB's involved for JYSS's NationalD parade. And guess what. On the day of the first rehearsal, my piccolo failed me. The key was stuck due to the weak spring and we don't know when it can be repaired. I need to use the old one for the time being which isn't really in a good condition :( oh wells what is done is done sigh. Just have to get used to it. 

Anyways, it's 2 days to performance! Getting excited! Haha hope everything goes well! JS will be conducting ! :D All the best! :)

Ps the evening sky was preety today
